Sacred Heart (S H) is a home
for Orphan girl
children.
It was
started on 02-02-1999.
SH
Home now has 44 orphan
girl children falling
into the age category
of 2yrs to 19 yrs.
Children admitted in
SH Home either by
court order or from
other childcare
organizations. All
girls except two are
going to school for
regular studies. They
have got facilities
for various indoor and
outdoor games like
caroms, chess,
badminton, cycling
etc. They are
interested in
gardening also and
spend some time daily
in that. Besides they
spend time to learn
music, drawing, and
keyboard etc. Children
conduct cultural
programmes for special
occasions like Onam,
Diwali, Christmas,
feast day of sisters
and all. Majority of
them are good artists.
They participate in
various cultural
competitions held in
school and win prizes
every year.
They have
the facilities like
computers, Television
etc .Many of them
are good in drawing,
painting and all. They
are interested in
various out door games
like running, jumping, and
skipping.
Birthdays of all the
children are
celebrated with much
enthusiasm . They
are maintaining a
kitchen garden in
which all the work is
done by the children.
