St. Mary's is a home
for visually
impaired girl
children.
It was
started on 15-03-1999
At present there
are 14 girl children
of which 8 are
visually impaired
and 6 are
normal children .
All the children
are going to school
except two and they are studying
in different classes.
Other than that they
are given training in
all self help skills.
Children are learning
music and also musical
instruments like
tabala and harmonium. Many of them
are good singers. They
are interested in
various activities
like knitting, clay
modeling, wax modeling
etc. They
have got facilities
like Television,
computer and brailer. They
are maintaining a
kitchen garden in
which all the work is
done by the children.
