The
most important undertaking
of the Society is Infant
Jesus School in Chandpur
village, Faridabad in
Haryana with its
“Inclusive Education”
programme.
Inclusion means
bringing children with
disabilities into the
mainstream of Education.
Children with special
needs attend the regular
classes along with normal
children, where teachers
with special training,
work together with the
class teachers to take
care of their special
needs. Though it is an
arduous task the results
encourage us to take up
the challenge. The
children with special
needs learn not only from
the teachers but also from
other children. The other
children also get used to
the reality and learn to
love, respect and help
children with
disabilities. This School
caters to the economically
weaker section in this
rural area as well as
inmates in the homes for
disabled in the Sanjoe
Puram Children’s village.
Rajia, a 100% visually
impaired girl of
Sanjoepuram Chidren's
village, completed her
plus two with ' A '
grade from Infant Jesus
School. The success
of Rajia is the success of
the Inclusive education
practiced in Infant Jesus
School. She is now joined
for B. A in Delhi
University.
